Notice of Privacy Practices

studentAuldern Academy accepts academically capable young women in grades 8 through 12. Candidates must express a desire to pursue academic and personal growth goals, which will prepare them for college and responsible independence during young adulthood. Auldern students receive both academic and therapeutic support to assist them in achieving optimal performance. Typically, our students have successfully completed a previous therapeutic, emotional growth, or wilderness program. Students with no prior therapeutic placement are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Students Who Succeed at Auldern:

  • Exhibit average to superior intelligence as defined by psycho-educational testing.
  • May be struggling with learning issues and success in the classroom.
  • Benefit from an environment with more structure and support than a typical home or traditional boarding school.
  • Want to develop skills and qualities required for college and independence.
  • May struggle with poor self-image, school avoidance, mild emotional difficulties, mild learning differences, underachievement, and social anxiety.
  • Express willingness to follow parental decision to attend Auldern Academy.

fashionMaterials Needed During the Admission Process Include:

  • Completed Application for Admission
  • Psycho-educational testing completed during the past 12 months (including, but not limited to, WISC, MMPI-A and/or MACI)
  • School transcripts
  • Summary from previous placement
  • Copy of Custody Documentation (if applicable)
